Nothing is sold at the Stegastein viewpoint itself — no shop, no kiosk. The architectural postcard of the cantilever, if you want one, is down in the Flåm and Aurland shops.
Tied to Stegastein
Stegastein is a viewpoint, not a town, and there is nothing for sale at the top. The souvenir worth carrying home is the architectural postcard of the platform — the angle from below that shows the deck-tilt clearly, the deck jutting into empty air over the fjord — and that is found down in the gift shops and the visitor centre in Flåm and Aurland, not at the viewpoint.
It is a better object than most fjord-region merchandise because it is of Stegastein — a specific piece of architecture in a specific place — rather than a generic troll or magnet. The Flåm shops are the reliable place to find it, either before the drive up or after the boat.
